We're going to talk about the difference between classic and classical. Now, when we talk about the difference between classic and classical.

Now, when we talk about classical, it refers usually to a very specific period of time.

Often, when we say classical, we think of ancient Greece, ancient Rome. Classical scholars might be Plato, Socrates, Aristotle. Classical music was probably composed in the 1500s, 1600s, 1700s, and into the 1800s.

Classic, on the other hand, describes something that is typical, something that is representative.
