One of the things that we have talked about in the past is what the tolerance is for hiring and firing football coaches lately.

And the result of what could happen when you fire a coach or when a coach moves on.

And basically under the new rules, your team gets gutted.

If a coach leaves or you fire them, they're going to take their best players with them, the ones that identify

with them the most, leave you with half a team, and then the newcoming guy, you're going to have

to rely on him to bring half the team from where he came from. So in this case, you're not

going to see too many Bill Belichick's of the world coming to the college football world because, one, they don't want to anymore because it's just too much work to be in college now compared to the NFL.

But number two is you can't bring your players with you to college from the NFL.

So what happens is when you get a team like New Mexico that is coming in here this Saturday,

you're looking at 45 transfers, 36 players they lost from last season, only 17 returning

lettermen, and they have 75 new players on their roster.

75 new players.
