Annuities. Let's talk about annuities, huh? Some people love them. Some people hate them.

A lot of people don't even

understand them. Annuities are more than just a nine-letter word. So I'm going to break down in the

three-part series. I'd like to say all there is to know about annuities, but that's not possible,

especially not in three parts. I'm going to give an intro to annuities in today's episode. So part one of three.

Today I'll talk about an intro to annuities, the common things that all annuities have with one

another. And then I'll start talking about the different types of annuities. In today's episode,

I'll end by talking about a multi-year guaranteed annuity or MiGA,yga next week's episode will be about uh income

annuities those that many people are think of when you think of an annuity it's kind of like a

traditional pension if you will where you just get a lifetime stream of income it's it really is

that simple or could be that simple and a next week's episode i'll also talk about the different

types of payment options you can have when you do have an income annuity. Do you want the payment to last for

your life, for your life and your spouse's life, for a certain amount of years? Do you want to

refund if you don't live long enough to get enough payments out of it? That'll be next week.
