Welcome back to the Ion College basketball podcast.

We sometimes discuss camera fighting and leaking black Matt Norlander is here with me.

And before we get into some of the weekends, best games and some stuff on the big east,

I did want to acknowledge that Iowa subsequent to our Wednesday morning podcast, did

suspend Fran McAfry for two games after he reportedly called an official a cheating

MF or following a loss at Ohio State.

Our last podcast was recorded after Fran went bananas, but before Iowa suspended him,

we both on that podcast that was recorded Wednesday morning thought that he deserved a

suspension and he got it two games.

Norlander, we won't spend much time on this, but let me ask is the two game suspension

is it appropriate?

It is.

And it's more than what I expected.

You know, on the previous pod, I actually thought that he was not going to face this kind

of discipline, but good to see after we recorded and before the news came down, I did hear

from a big 10 coach who said this is almost certainly going to be a suspension and then

like 30 minutes later, the news came out that indeed that it was.

It's the right call.

So right number of games, no issue with it whatsoever.
