God, what crazy. Good morning, everybody. Hello there. Welcome to Tuesday. Somehow or another, it's Tuesday. It's 545. My name's John.

There's Brady. There's Brett. Big Dick Toledo. This is the Morning Sickness.

And it is time now to move forward. We're just talking about money being made.

And what was your 1973 baseball contract? Yeah, 1973, the richest baseball contract,

from the White Talks, no matter of fact, Dick Allen, $250,000 for three years.

For three solid years. Not divided there.

Divide that by three. So 250 divided by three, which is crushing compared to what happened,

you know, 50 years later. That was the richest deal 50 years ago.

And I was watching it, and then you said something about in the late 70s, you saw something with the

average salary. It was between $16,000 or whatever it was. It wasn't much. Then they started making

the millions now. We're looking at, you know, what's his name? The other day, it's signed a 10-year

extension, Machado, for 40 million a year. Yeah, they're making 35, 40 million a year now.

30 years. And I was watching, I watched a lot of PBS last night, because they ran the 1968 Elvis

comeback special. Nice. Awesome TV. That's the one in the black leather. There's a lot to it.

That one's got the black leather outfit was the live performance. And there was a lot of pre-film

stuff before and around it. But Elvis got, what's it doing? Then there was a special on F PBS.

I might have hit a new age low last night. So I watched PBS pretty much all night long.

And sat through almost every one of their little pledge moments in between.
