And we begin with a bonus day on the calendar.

Tomorrow is the 29th, the once in almost every four-year event when we add an extra 24 hours to February and call it leap day.

Despite many urban legends, leap day exists for scientific, not superstitious reasons, and the biggest of them,

the length of time it takes the Earth to orbit the Sun.

It's not exactly 365 days.

It's actually 365 days, five hours, 48 minutes and 46 seconds.

After a while, that extra time adds up, every four years an extra day is added to make sure our season stay in sync with our calendar.

Even with the extra day though the math is still off just a bit. To fix that problem, leap year is cancelled three times every 400 years.

Tik-Tok. It may look funny on video but the bumps, bruises, concussions, and

seizures that have resulted are very very real.

School districts and health experts from coast to coast

are now sending warnings to parents,

and the platform itself says it's pulling down the clips

as fast as it can.

For those of you who don't know, the viral pranks starts innocently enough with two people,

supposedly trying to teach a third a new dance.

But when they do a jump, the two kids on the outside kick the feet out from under the person in the middle.

One mental health expert calls it in no uncertain terms, bullying.

Japan is taking no chances. bullying. safe from the coronavirus. In this country, superintendents are hard at work, mapping out plans to teach kids over the internet or in smaller classrooms should the need arise. In the meantime, the mystery of the virus deepens.
