In our never ending but occasional series of meeting G-Ellers who are out fighting

the good fight. We are joined by Tim Talison today. Tim, you're originally from

Esco, Minnesota. Yep, Long Tongue Residence in 1968.

Where are you living now? Right there. Oh, in Esco. Okay. Tim was a fire, is a firefighter

who fought the fires in Australia when Tim, December and January. Yes, this is my second trip

down there. I did it in 2014, even for the season. And this year, there were,

yeah, I want to watch you like gas attack. Tim didn't take long. In December, I did two weeks

came home for the holidays and then went back down there for about a 40-day stretch.

How does that happen? How did it come to be the guy from Esco ends up fighting fires in

Australia? Well, that's a long story and I worked for a contractor based out in Washington

State. And we're owned by a company up in Canada who has a contract with the Australians.

Okay. And on occasion, they need a little support on their pilot side. Are you a pilot of a tanker?
