Summary
On today’s Dan Patrick Show, the weekly Meat Friday show opened up about Russell Wilson
and his list of teams that he would lift his no-trade clause for. While Wilson’s party did not say
they were demanding a trade, DP certainly thinks the list insists such. NFL Network insider Ian
Rapoport joined the show to talk about Wilson’s future, Drew Brees’ retirement, and more in
the world of football. Barbeque expert Daniel Vaughn joined the show in the second hour to
respond to Nick Wright’s comments from the day before how Texas does not have good
barbeque. Lastly, former NFL executive Andrew Brandt joined Dan with plans to pay up on a
shower of shame bet surrounding Carson Wentz. However, some miscommunication in
wording kept Brandt dry for now, at least until Deshaun Watson finds a new home.
