A report came out this morning from NJ.com that Jean-Carlo is on the way back to New York,

and he will get consulted with team physician Dr. Christopher Ahmad.

That was reported by both NJ Advanced Media and the New York Post.

That Stanton's on his way back to New York, which has certainly caused more angst and concern,

considering the future right now of

Jean-Carlo Stanton.

They're playing at 4 o'clock today, which is weird.

But Aaron Boone's speaking in Fort Myers, according to Brian Hoke, confirmed Jean-Carlo is in New York,

but, quote, the situation is personal in nature.

And I'm going to leave it at that for now.

That's all I can comment on that.

So it could still be injury related.

That's what I was going to ask.

But for Aaron to say, as of right now, I can't say much, but it's personal in nature.

I mean, look, an injury is personal.

So it's not a lie necessarily, but it does put a

little cloud of doubt on what the heck he's doing in New York.

Maybe it isn't related to the dueling tennis elbows.

The only I would say, and obviously who knows what personal nature it is, it's probably

not for anybody to pick at and prod it, but if it was just simply injury related and personal off of that, I think Aaron Boone's, I think, unknowingly or not smartly opening up a can of worms of curiosity, it doesn't need to be opened up. Like, as far as he knows, public perception is he's up there for injury. So if it's injury combined with personal nature, just keep it at injury. You know what I mean? Yeah. No, I get you, man. I don't know.
