It is Armed American Radio's Diggly Defense. It is not Mark Walters, though. He's traveling back from Arizona. He's been out there, what, the past week almost? I believe he started traveling Tuesday, Wednesday last week. So he's been doing his monster broadcast, doing his thing out from beyond. But we are here ready to rock and roll. And I'm usually sitting into the seat as a guest on a Monday.

My name is Andy Hoosier, moving these studios out here to Wichita, Kansas, my flagship at KQAM, great affiliate of Armed American Radio, as we have Greg down in Dallas. What is up, my friend? Happy Monday greatest day of the entire week, right? Yeah, here we are, man. B-Team in effect, and you hit the airwaves, as usual, with that high-energy Monday,

1:30.7

and I'm like, oh, it's Monday already. Yes, it's Monday, man. Hey, you know what? As the one that people listen to for the energy and for the attention, like, we got to do that, man. So I remember doing the morning show.

1:42.1

And for those that don't know, I used to do the morning show here on KQAM for a good five years.

1:46.5

I am not a morning person. I hate mornings. I'm a second shift kind of guy. I would rather go to sleep at 2 a.m. and sleep until 10 a.m. Like that's my natural shift. That's my natural flow. And that's what I enjoy. So yeah, anything beyond that is

2:02.5

kind of ridiculous. And I did mornings where I would have to be at the studio at 5 a.m. for a show from 6 to 9.

2:08.6

And that was the most torturous thing in my entire life. But it was, you know, fun. And it was my duty.

2:15.5

I got to wake people up in the morning and act like I'm excited and pepped up and ready to go. So now that I don't have to wake up that early, I can truly be pepped up and ready to go for the day. Yeah, there you go, man. That early morning radio is the worst. Up at 4.30, probably on the road for however long it takes you to get to the studio, squeeze in. a little prep for the first hour, because you know the first segment is not going to really be much about nothing. You're just going to kind of chat with your coworkers on the air. We might get into topics at the end of that hour or the second hour and see how it goes. Morning radio is so tough. Well, I didn't have a co-host. It was all just me and myself and I was. So I got to talk to myself at 6 a.m. in the morning and feel like I was actually being

2:54.6

productive.

2:55.3

So that was a challenge. That's brutal. Yeah. That's brutal. Anyways, but we're here. We're ready to go. Let's get the, hit the tone. and as we always say, we're Carpe deanism all over this place, which I'm excited about.
