Mardi Gras at Universal Studios, including writing on a float. So, Mardi Gras Universal,

this is the 16th year they've done it. The title this year is let them music move you.

You know, this happens Saturday and select nights, February 12th through April 23rd,

straight through Lent. Makes sense. Now, this is not an extra ticket to get in. Once you have

your ticket to get into the park, this happens at Universal Studios, not on the adventure.

If you have a ticket to get into the park, then this event is free. It's not like Mickey's not

so scary or Mickey's very merry where you need to buy an extra ticket. This is included,

but like I said, it's only going to happen on Saturday nights and certain nights it'll be on

Friday in addition to Saturday this past weekend. It was Saturday and Sunday.

Now, I was able to experience it twice this weekend to very different opportunities.

Julian and I were invited to a special media event where we were able to prepare Gumbo,

Universal's version of Gumbo with their executive chef, Steve Jason. Now, he's been at Universal

for 20 years now and he's also the one that came up with a recipe for Butterbeer. So, he's the

he's the big chef over there. You know who he reminded me of? The chef from Ratatouille,

the one that can't cook. He looks like him. Did he have a little rat on his head? No.

But he was very nice and well-spoken and friendly. We had a really nice time with him.
