Return to the Lord with your whole heart.
We are often tempted to run away from God and from difficult moments in life. We might even be tempted to escape from all that has been taken from us over the past year. But to choose to embrace this moment is to choose to embrace the Lord and His Providence.
Matthew 6:1-6, 16-18

0:54.2 | And I love this, again, one of the reasons why I love Lent is because we do something you have action, there's purpose, |

1:09.5 | And it's necessary because I think so often, so many of us are tempted to run away. |
1:15.7 | You know Joel in the first reading, he says, return to the Lord with your whole heart. |
1:19.3 | And I think so many of us are tempted to run away from the Lord and love him halfheartedly. |
1:24.8 | Or maybe even a better way to say it rather than run away, I think a lot of us just end up, end up drifting away. |
1:30.9 | Because when we drift away, I think we resort to our default. |
