2026. And we begin with a message from one Olympic medal winner to all the others.

Several have fallen apart, usually during a post-win celebration or dance.

American skier and downhill champion Breezy Johnson was the first to notice the metal malfunction.

I was jumping in excitement and it broke, she told reporters,

it's not crazy broken, but a little broken. Next was Germany's bi-athlete Ustuz Strelov,

whose medal fell off the ribbon and clanked to the floor while dancing with his teammates.

And U.S. figure skater Alyssa Liu posted a clip to social showing her medal also detached from the ribbon.

The organizing committee for the Olympics says it's investigating the problem with maximum attention.

The U.S.'s measles problem is not going away. The Centers for Disease Control says in just the past

few weeks there have been

733 confirmed cases. That's four times what the country typically averages in an entire year.

The record numbers come as South Carolina deals with the largest outbreak recorded in recent

memory, bigger even than the outbreak along the Texas-New Mexico border
