2024 and we begin with a classic cartoon flipping the script to write a wrong.

In 1973, a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving included the gang's good friend Franklin, but in one notable scene, Franklin, the peanut crew's only black character, is shown alone at the dinner table opposite all his white friends.

Now the creator's son Craig Schultz has rolled out a redo, a new Peanuts TV special

called Snoopy Presents Welcome Welcome Home Franklin, that highlights the backstory of Franklin

as a military kid moving to a new town and trying to make friends.

The internet is loving it.
