Yeah, it's an important question. It's something we need to understand spiritually. What kind of authority do we have in Jesus? If a police officer stops me, let's say I've got

a headlight out or something like that, He stops me at night and pulls me over.

Do I have the right to say, well, I have authority over you in Jesus. No, obviously not. He has

authority over me as a policeman. However, if in the midst of our discussion, I realize that this

man is demonized and he says, look, I'm suffering from terrible oppression. I can't sleep at night. I have these dreams of demons attacking me.

I'm crying out to God. I can't get free. I can say, look, in Jesus' name, we have authority over the devil.

Let's pray together. All right? So we have authority over Satan in Jesus. We have authority over

demonic powers in Jesus. Jesus gave his disciples authority over demons and disease. So you can read that

Matthew 10, Luke 9. So if we had the same authority they had, then we have authority over demons

and disease. And you can debate whether we have that authority or not, but we don't have

authority over people. But Jesus says all authority in heaven and earth is given to him, therefore we go and make

disciples of the nations. So what exactly does that mean? 866-3-4-truth. You're listening to the line of
