Hello and

welcome to the Monday, February 5th, 2018,

edition of Tesla Daily Unofficial Tesla Podcast.

My name is Rob Maowerower and today we are primarily

talking about Tesla stock. Before we get into the episode, I do want to let everybody know that I am

traveling for work this week and due to that I will be pre-recording today's episode as well as

Tuesday and very likely Wednesday's episode as well. Unfortunately that means

that these episodes will be on the briefer end of the scale and I won't be able to

cover any news that happens on

Sunday through Wednesday and of course this week is earnings week so on

Thursday that episode is going to be completely dedicated to recapping earnings

and probably Fridays as well because there's going to be a lot to cover.

So bear with me as we play a little bit of catch up there on the podcast and I will try to get to any of those

major topics as soon as I can.

With that being said, Tesla stock on Friday closed down 1.57% to $343.75, this compared to the Nasdac down 1.96%.

On the week, Tesla stock finished up 1.13% compared to the Nasdak down 3.09%.

This was an especially impressive performance from Tesla because this was the worst week for

the S&P 500 and for the Dow Jones Industrial Average in over two years since January 2016, and the worst week for the NASDAQ in almost two years since early February 2016.

For Tesla to have an up week in that sort of

macro environment I think is very impressive and I think it shows the

underlying strength of Tesla as it grows ever closer to mass model three production.
