Today's expression is, well, I'm going to teach you the difference between go to school and go to the school.

So, go to school. I go to school. When did you go to school? When did you go to the school? I go to the school. What's the difference here?

Well, yes, actually, there is a difference.

If you go to school, that actually means you, it could mean that you attend the school. You could be a student or you could be a teacher, maybe a coach.

I go to school. So what do you do on the weekend? I go to school. I study. That's what that means.

What's your job? I go to school. That means I'm a student. So without the word the, when we talk about school, go to school, we actually think of classes. Once again, it could be a student taking classes or a teacher teaching classes, maybe a coach, coaching some sports games, something like that.
