Those of you who follow me on social media know that I recently took a short road trip with my family to the

beautiful state of Arizona. It's become one of our favorite destinations to go

for a quick visit to someplace different,

to take in not only the amazing desert,

but the magnificent natural wonders

and also the small towns and historic districts

and the different places to shop and eat.

Those of you who live in areas where states are smaller and more clustered together, it might not

be as big of a deal to go from one state to the next. But where we live

here in Southern California, it's like a big deal when we cross borders. We're actually closer to Mexico than we are to any

other state. So going to Arizona or Nevada for us is at least a three or four hour
