Storytime friends, let me tell you about this beautiful dog.

Her name is Cookie.

And Cookie is part mastiff, part German shepherd, and we rescued her

from from a house in northern California.

And I had never, ever, ever met her in person before.

And when I saw her picture on Facebook, this was about six or seven years ago.

Cookie's seven years old now.

She was about eight months.

I saw her picture on Facebook.

Someone that I knew had posted a picture saying,

hey, my neighbor is going to get rid of this dog, send it to the pound,

because she's gotten really big.

She's only eight months old.

And the family doesn't want her,
