0:38.3	hanging out with us on the PD podcast. Thank you for having me. I'm so excited to be here today.
0:44.7	Awesome. We're so happy to have you, Jackie. So Jackie, I gave a little bit of information on you,
0:50.3	but can you just fill in our listeners a little bit about yourself, just so they can get to
0:55.2	know you a little bit? Yes, like you said, me and my husband, Ernie, we have been married for
1:01.8	33 years, and we have two young adult daughters. And the first 18 years of our marriage had been
1:09.5	ravaged with sexual addiction that my husband had.
1:13.8	And through that process, we did not even know that it was sexual addiction.
1:18.8	But it just got to the place where I decided to call it quit.
1:22.6	So it just became hopeless.
1:24.5	And our story and our journey begins is during our time of separation where God
1:30.4	brought us to a healing in restoration time. And through that healing and restoration, we
1:36.3	begin to understand that our spouses are not our enemy, but the enemy is our enemy. And he
1:43.1	took us on a road to recovery, and I call it early recovery, where my husband was
1:48.9	able to get the help that he need.
1:50.8	And by me believing that he was getting the help that he needed, that our marriage would be
1:56.4	okay.
