Hey everybody, it's JJ and Dave. Welcome back to another episode of Instr of Instrumental today we get to introduce you to our

friend Ross King he's not a real king but he's pretty nice he's the king of songwriting

that should be on his business card Ross Ross, the king of songwriting.

I first heard about Ross when I was on tour with Jason Gray.

Jason had just written a song with Ross and he's like, you guys have to hear it.

So he played me the song and it was incredible.

It's a song called Good Company, right?

It's an amazing song.

You guys should go look it up and listen to it after you listen to this podcast.

So Jason played me the song, and I just fell in love with Ross's songwriting.

And a few months later, we reached out to Ross to see if he would be willing to try to write a song with us.

And he was.

And he came over, and the rest is kind of history.

We've written so many songs with Ross.

JJ, when you think of Ross, what do you think of?

Well, he is from Texas, so he's a real straight shooter.

And he's super fun to write with because if we get stuck on a lyric or a melodic idea,

he'll just say, okay, what about this one?

What about this?
