Hey guys, how's it going? Scott here from Scott's Bass Lessons again, and I'm here today with

episode 18 of the SBL podcast. I'm just got to give you a heads up. If you hear any weird,

kind of spooky wind noises, it's because the wind outside is blowing at some sort of weird

angle that I've never heard it blow out before. And it's making a whistling. It's like, ooh, that kind of thing.

So it isn't, I haven't put any strange, spooky backing track on the podcast, or the

intro of the podcast anyway.

I've got a few things to talk about before we get into this week's episode. And by the way,

this week's episode is with the amazing Steve Pearce, who is a legend on the UK session scene.

He's played with guys like Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, Tom Jones, Al Jero, Madonna, Mark Knopfler.

It's played on film soundtracks such as Donnie Brasco,

Evita, the Full Monty. Great film, The Full Monty, by the way. A bit of old school vibes

going on for you there. So I'm sure you get the idea, but I've got a few things that I just want to

give you a pointer about before we get stuck into this week's podcast. The first thing is that

the SBL live event, so SBL Live

2016, which is happening on the 9th and the 10th of April, is at this weekend. Okay, so this

weekend, SBL Live 2016 is happening. It's going to be the coolest online base event in the history of the world,

because nobody else has done one before. And we've got tutors, well, the tutors are just crazy.

I'm just opening up the, uh, opening up who we've got here. We've got Ed Friedland. We've

got Danny Mo Morris, Todd Johnson,

Divinity Rocks, Rufus Phil Pot, Phil Mann, Ariane Capp, Zaltan Deccany, Jeff Chalmers, Steve Jenkins,

Steve Lawson, Sean Hurley, and me. We're all going to be teaching the entire weekend. We're going to be
