| 1:22.0 | Time for a sewage treatment plant right up against the boundary with Joshua Tree. |
| 1:30.6 | The Pano Peplas are back, beautiful birds, dark and silky feathered birds. |
| 1:36.5 | They come here to feast upon that most festive desert plant, the desert mistletoe. |
| 1:44.8 | The Pano Peplas spends all day long in that mistletoe this time of year, eating those red berries. |
| 1:53.4 | Now those berries might make you high as a kite. |
| 1:56.9 | You might see God or something worse or just tasting the things might kill you dead. |
| 2:02.4 | It's a toss-up. |
| 2:04.8 | But the Faina Pepla evolved to deal with these otherwise toxic berries. |
| 2:10.9 | And maybe that's why they're such cheerful birds. |
