I was working out and I was surfing, but I didn't have anything to train for.

There was nothing on the calendar.

And I got really just like in a pretty bad funk.

My parents, they hit me up and they were like,

we signed up for an ultra marathon.

Is this something you'd ever want to do?

After the FaceTime call, I was like, wait, why not?

Like why would I just dismiss myself like that?

And so I was like, this obviously is a problem.

That it's shit ton of trail running.

Just the fact that I was showing up every day
