Okay here we go. So, St. Lucy. I grew up with a Sicilian grandmother who was told back in the day she would never see.

Thought like she maybe has a few years,

she'll probably be blind or not be able to see.

I'm paraphrasing because there's been a lot of telephone since this actual story happened,

but that's the nuts and bolts.

So my great-grandmother said a novena, do you know what

a novena is? It's like a devotional prayer to the saint.

St Lucy's the saint of the blind and a vision.

So every year on St. Lucy's Day. And I'm sure my great-term lawyer did it a little bit more than just

St. Lucy's Day, which is December 13th.

What's one thing in Italian can't live without?

Pasta.

So that one day of the year, no pasta,

and you eat this wonderful chocolate grain based barley based soup.
