Hey everybody, this is Joe Lample, the Joe behind Joe Gardner and thanks for listening to the

Joe Gardner show

you are in for a treat today I must say this is one of those conversations where

I suggest that you just settle in and absorb some of the wisdom that will be shared today

by our good friend Margaret Roach.

I almost feel like this is a fireside kind of listen with your favorite beverage and your favorite chair and your most

comfortable clothes for lounging. So allow me to encourage you to just treat

yourself to the next not quite an hour to some uninterrupted time so you can soak in and absorb all the

wonderful things you're going to hear from Margaret today. Now many of you already

know Margaret's story but not all so allow me to briefly just share with you some of that to

set the stage. For many years beginning in her 20s Margaret worked in the heart of

New York City primarily as a journalist and eventually working her way up to being the high-powered corporate

executive vice president and editorial director of Martha Stewart Living.

So she had a lot on her plate at that time.

She was managing a lot of people.

You know, by then you could say that Margaret really

had pretty much everything she needed.

A successful high profile career that she loved,
