Hey, hi, what's going on? Welcome to the Jeff Gersman show. I'm Jeff Gersman. It is September.

1:11.0

That's it. It's just, it's September.

1:14.0

It's here. Video games are back. Are they? You know, I, it's, uh,

1:19.0

I, I continue to feel a little weird about the release calendar. And that is something that is, that is my fault,

1:25.0

uh, because of.

1:28.0

Decades and decades of being trained that September was when it like a bunch of big games started hitting.

1:36.0

It doesn't really feel like that's the case, but there's been a ton of just like good stuff these past.

1:40.0

Couple of weeks are actually, you know, it's a mix of good stuff and interesting stuff or, or stuff that it ended up being not good, I guess, in the case of like a Saints Row, but, um,

1:48.0

we, you know, we've had some releases here over these past few weeks. And this last week felt like the first,

1:55.0

kind of comb week for releases in, in about a month or so, um,

2:03.0

which is weird. That's not normally, that's not normally how, uh, this business does things. And I'm sure some of that is exacerbated by, I guess the last of us came out.

2:12.0

2:20.0

I don't have any interest in that. So, uh, so there are probably some people that are playing that, I guess, I don't know.

2:28.0

Um, but yeah, I don't know. Other than that, it's been, uh, I have, you know, you can't see it on camera, but I've made some slight reorganization of the room here.

2:40.0

And I've moved the PC a little bit further away from me, which is nice for like a noise.

2:48.0

Um, from a noise perspective, the fans can really spin up on that thing, but also it is, it generates so much heat this room.

2:57.0

I mean, it's been like a hundred and somebody, it's been somewhere between like a hundred and five hundred, hundred and nine degrees here for the past week or so.

3:07.0

Um, and it is going to be about that, uh, temperature for the rest of this week. And I think this weekend, it will finally get back to a point where it's only 90 degrees and you're like, yay.

3:21.0

So yeah, it's, uh, this room in particular, uh, becomes a pretty unpleasant place to be, but also this room, you know, as you remember from this wall getting torn down right here, this room is right off the, the air conditioner, all the furnace saw the pumps, everything emanates from the closet right next to this room.

3:43.0

And so my AC vent up here is the first vent off of the furnace. And so at least the AC works well when it is running, which really just underscores.
