Hi there and welcome to another edition of The Last Night on Earth with me Sasha.

I'm recording the show in Abitha where I'll be staying this summer.

During the summer it's my spiritual home and even though over the years it's changed a lot in terms of the music and the club nights,

the essence of the island is still the same.

I recently did an impromptu back-to-back set with Nick Vanchuley at Café Mambo in

preparation for his night at Pasha. It's great to play there in front of the sunset before

heading into Pasha to play till sunrise. So it's here on the White Isle where this month's mix comes

from. Space, Bitha has been running for over 25 years on the island and at the end of this summer

it will close down forever. The club has held legendary parties over the years including

the 22-hour We Love Space on Sundays, Colcox on Tuesdays, La Troia, Kekuma, even Manumission

held some historic afterparties at the venue. The Space Terrace is one of the most talked about rooms in the world, starting off as a little open air space where DJs would play behind the bar turning it into the best daytime party on the island.

The crowds would always cheer when the planes would fly directly over the open roof terrace as they came into land at Abitha Airport, with a fresh

batch of hungry ravers. Space has opened and closed the season with a huge party that

would be the unofficial start and end of the summer on the island for many years. Over the last
