Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Series 2 Episode 2 of George Ezra and Friends

The Podcast and today's guest is the one and only. That's right, take about early

golden. Yes, we did it. I was so last year, Ellie very kindly invited me to play a charity

event that she puts on. It was at the Royal Albert Hall, which meant that I got to play at the

Royal Albert Hall for starters, which was amazing of course, for selfish reasons but more than that,

it was just amazing to be part of this evening that she put together and we first spoke about

getting together for the podcast then and naturally the reoccurring theme of this show is People's

Diaries but we managed to make it happen. We managed to make it happen. Ellie very kindly came

out to my place and we sat down for an hour so and just chat away. I bit like Ellie was saying

for those of you that don't know as much about Ellie as you're going to by the end of this show,

Ellie is a British singer and songwriter and performer and I think this will be her fourth album coming out.

And she's just yeah, she's been here there and everywhere and she's had a huge success

all around the world and is loved by Minnie which of course that was fascinating to talk about.

I think the funniest thing was though she's definitely in a phase of the minute where she's

kind of locked away writing and recording and naturally you just came to the swing of having

conversations with people in you know the same people in the same rooms and she was kind of

saying to me how funny it is to be out and actually having conversations. I think she enjoyed

that which was really sweet and I should say Ellie is the first podcast guest we've ever had

that came bearing cake. Yes indeed. Now that I like so thank you for that Ellie and thank you for

your time. I really enjoyed it. It's amazing. I should let you guys know that listening, I am actually
