as a second language. Brooke, what is your degree in? My degree is a doctor of philosophy and

Educational psychology is really a field that studies patterns in human behavior and seeks to better understand human behavior.

was really very much more focused on language, language development. And it did take a somewhat

behavioralist approach to language development, though. And what is your current job title?

I'm an associate professor of English as a second language at Butler University in

Indianapolis, Indiana. So what is your job entail at this point? So primarily I teach courses

to undergraduate students, so students who are in college who want to become teachers. Some of them want to be

math teachers or science teachers and others want to only focus on English as a second language
