Folks, we spent most of the morning talking about the big news on Friday.

And that is that, of course, there was the Michigan-Michigan State game.

Michigan fell to the Spartans.

But before that, it was that Michigan signed its man to an extension. Dusty May got his extension.

Another year tacked on a million dollar raise, the buyout raise to seven and a half million, more money for his assistance, more of a commitment to the NIO Warchest.

I think it was Matt Norlander was the first to report.

Yeah, CBS had it first.

Yeah.

So it was uh it was it was kind of as far as projections

were concerned uh what we what we projected now that was not insider trading you know

daniel and and devon would it would say, inside a trade, inside of trading.

I had no idea.

The million dollar part, the seven figure raised part was pure projection.

The part about the conversation about the extension, that part I knew.

I knew that that was going on as we spoke but I kind of I think I said as much I didn't hide that I knew that part but I didn't know anything about the numbers the specifics of the numbers so that's great work that's great work. That's great work. We got a chance to talk to Ward Manuel and Dusty after the game, but that's, you know, we talked to Dusty after every game.

But Ward was post-game after the Michigan State game to talk about signing us to the extension.

It was just a reflection of the outstanding performance of the basketball team.

I mean, this is a performance that surpassed all reasonable expectations.

I mean, you're at the top of the Big Ten.

And this was, I think, an adjustment that was going to come

postseason anyway
