Mr. Weintra, we've spent all morning talking about Michigan men's basketball, a little about the Olympic hockey team.

What about Michigan women's basketball over the weekend?

Not the outcome that you would have wanted, right?

Obviously.

One tough opponent, we knew it would be.

Yeah, we knew that the final three games of their season,

we're going to tell a big story about their season because they're still battling for those

top four seeds in the Big Ten tournament.

But we knew finishing at Iowa, at Ohio State and Home Against Maryland, three teams that are all in line to potentially host first and second round NCAA tournament games. We knew these are going to be tough games. Now, losing these games doesn't necessarily impact you in the NCAA side as much as losing to somebody else. But obviously, you're looking at the top of the Big Ten standings.

All these games are huge.

Michigan loses yesterday. It was a defensive slugfest, Sam. It was just one of those kind of games. And then as you go through the third quarter, it kind of felt like maybe at the end of the third quarter, Siley hits a late three, cuts it to four. And you're like, okay, maybe can you, but Iowa hits a prayer three back, three back you know banks in at the buzzer so it goes right back up the seven and Michigan can never really

get it within what four or five after that for the remainder of the game so we talk about

learning lessons that kind of stuff and you have that in there playing two bigs because they

use two like they have a true power forward and a true

center and that's something that Michigan has to adapt to a little bit better and defend

a little bit better that's part of it but to me it's just coming out of it you have to put

that game behind you and move on like it's one of those things where you have no time to let that

linger you have Ohio State coming up tomorrow night or Wednesday night.

And Ohio State's coming off of,

they just snapped a two-game losing streak and they beat USC at home.

And the player to watch out for it at Ohio State is Jolani Cambridge.
