Mr. Weintraub, when the schedule came out on the women's side of things,

you look at, you know, you talk about big time matchups that you were circling.

You were circling on the calendar.

Boy, oh, boy.

This one against SC was one that you kind of look to, right?

But, you know, just one of those, one of those draws.

We were talking about this in the break.

You think Juju will be,, will make an early jump,

or you think she'll be around for her senior season?

Or another question, if she stays for her senior season,

would she stay beyond that?

Because she is a phenomenon as you,

as you were talking about,

they had to make a special line for her because all of the fans. Yeah, the fans really wanted a piece of juju after the game, you know, fans are getting pictures and autographs, which is really cool to see. And first of all, Sam, can I shout out the crew that got the parking lot ready for us to get there yesterday. But the Michigan fans on a really bad weather day, on a day that's really

easy to stay home. There's great football on TV, et cetera. There was a really nice crowd at the

Chrysler Center yesterday for the game. This game, we knew, so let's kind of go back. When

USC and UCLA joined the Big Ten, Sam, and the schedules were first announced, we were kind of

bumped because it was a year and changed whatever it was ago. And Gracie and I were talking about it because we knew that junior year was the only time that Juju Watkins was coming in Ann Arbor. I was hoping it would have been, you know, sophomore and senior year to get two visits. But obviously that's not the way that it worked out. So we knew she was going to come to town one time this year.

And unfortunately, for all of us, if you want to see her play in person, she got hurt during the tournament last year, NCAA tournament last year. So we had a chance to see her in Indianapolis in the Big Ten tournament. She's a phenomenal player. She's going to come back next year. She would have a redshirt available to her if she wanted it. I can't imagine that she's going to come back for a redshirt season after her senior year next year.

But it does completely change that team. Like that team was built. Like you could tell that Gottlieb recruited that team and built that team around the fact that they were going to have a junior jujuwakins. And you have a terrific freshman in Jazzy Davidson. You've got some other really good players. But they were supposed to be built around this great player. And Jazzy Davis is a great player too, but she's a freshman, right? And you were supposed to kind of have it all blend together and possibly have the Big Ten roll through L.A. again, between both UCLA and USC being that good. The injury Jujua Watkins is that impactful. She's that good of a basketball player. And so they're not having the season they wanted, but they're still a tough out. They've got really good players. And they gave Michigan, in particular, in the third quarter yesterday, Sam. They threw a few haymakers at Michigan. And Michigan responded in the fourth and came away with the victory. It was a great crowd. It was a lot of fun at the game yesterday. And it was a big win because you're looking ahead. And that game went from one of those games where you look at the schedule, you know, a while ago or knowing they were going to be in the schedule going, that's going to be a really tough game to almost you have to win that game because then they play Thursday night at Indiana. Speaking of down teams, this is the most down I think we've ever seen Indiana. They're O for in the Big Ten right now. These are games you have to get because as we've talked about, and I talked about this with the guys yesterday when I was on the MGO podcast with Seth and Brian, we've talked a ton about what February looks like for this team. Now, maybe Nebraska, I think they have a recent loss. They might fall out of the rankings. And Northwestern is not going to be ranked. But you have two games against number 13 Michigan State. You host number three, UCLA. You go to number 10, Iowa. You go to number 12 Ohio State, and you host number 15 Maryland. those are six of your last eight games and then you have the Nebraska and the Northwestern games.
