Speaking of the Ford's, John Eubacon purchased the Detroit Lions, I don't know, before I was alive, mired in mediocrity and

sub and below that forever. And then we get to this era of Lions football where the standard

has been raised and they go out, we're talking Super Bowl, they go out and lose to the Green Bay Packers.

Suddenly a lot of folks believe that the die has been cast, that they are not a Super Bowl contender.

But this shows you that they're a different Lions outfit because they go out and hang a 50 spot on the Bears a week later.

And then last week, more impressively, or this week, earlier this week, even more

impressively, they go on the road on Monday night football and beat the Baltimore Ravens.

What did that victory say to you?

Well, you guys been talking about this this week, too, and you're right to do so, of course.

It is one game, the same way the Packers' debacle. The first week was one game. But it's an important game. I mean, if they played like that versus the Packers, who knows what happens. You played a very good team with the Ravens. We're going to find out how good. Lamar Jackson, no matter what the team is like this year, we know that he is one of the elite quarterbacks in the NFL, top four or five for sure. The defensive line got after him, seven sacks. It speaks for itself. Aidan Hutchins, I don't think he's quite at. Aiden Hutchinson, it's quite at 100% what I've seen, but he's pretty close and soar his teammates. Really solid.
