And not just John, the start of the Michigan football season, but Monday in most places, not everywhere, but in most places around the state of Michigan, Monday is the first day of school.

University of Michigan has first day of classes on Monday.

I know for us, Celine has their first day of school on Monday.

For you, Ann Arbor Schools are back on Monday, so I hope you had a great summer with the boy.

Had a great summer with the boy. The boy is here in case you're wondering so uh yes we are up north right now

and the boy is doing something right now teddy a quick hello teddy teddy's not available he's got to be waiting for the queue. We're going to teach him about how the radio business works when you're, when you're, when you got to be ready for that cue. When that mic comes up to your mouth, Teddy, you got to say something. When the light is on, you go. That's all right. But get that last trip right before it still starts right it might be disposed

right now but we'll uh we'll we'll see we available later on well i'm glad you guys had a great uh

i'm glad you guys had a great uh summer that is winding down it is a this is always a weird weekend

for me and i don't know how it is for you guys and or for all the fans that are out there, but this is the last weekend before the season starts. So, you know, next weekend, the weekend, it might be Labor Day weekend, but the weekend revolves around Saturday and football. And moving forward, the weekend, obviously all weekends revolve around football, even by weekends somehow revolve around football. But this is the last one that doesn't. So get a little golf in, get a little pool time, get a little lake time, whatever does that you do that last little bit because it gets real John coming up on Monday. It's going to be game week. And the players, well, they've been getting a real. They've been getting after it for weeks now. And so excited about that. Before we get into the NCAA stuff, they did announce their captains yesterday, six captains this year, two returning captains.

We now have our 19th and 20th multi-year captains.

And how about, John, I love this stat.

Max Bredesen joins his brother, Ben Bredesen, both as two-time captains for the Michigan football team.

All I can say about that is you got the right guys.

I read about Mac, I'm sorry, Ben.

I wrote about in overtime, one of my featured, five or six featured guys,

man, as Michigan man as it gets.

And, of course, Max was a junior high school kid at the time, I believe. So there they are. That same clock, just the kind of guys you want leading your team in the locker. No question. Yeah, I remember I told the story the other day. We had, when we were at Rich Hewlett's golf outing a year ago, so, you know, a year and a half, give it a year and change we were there and Max Bredison was there. And I was talking to him and I said, you know, Max, this is not the first time we've met. And he looked at me with this funny look on his face. And I said, we met in 2019 in Omaha, Nebraska. And, you know, thinking about his brother, Ben, and then he's got a brother on the baseball team, and then he's on the, like, this is a true,

like, is one of those ultimate Michigan kind of families, and it's cool to see him be a two-time
