And you mentioned a name earlier on this show john bacon that for fans in this area

he has become one of the superstars we all look to you mentioned the name tariffrick School. He is must see TV. Every time he takes

the mound, it's a capacity crowd at Comerica Park. I mean, he is a dominant force. His last

outing was a complete game shutout, 94 pitches. Final pitch on the mound was 103 miles an hour.

Amazing. 13 strikeouts in that game. He's coming off of Sy Young. He is in contention again, not leading the but trending up and it would not be a surprise

if he moves back to the head of the class again and this is not a contract year

next year will be a contract year.

And so the Tigers are in a position now where they are, you know, negotiations going on.

And he, between them and superagent Scott Boris.

And so been talking to all the regular guests, Craig Ross, Eric Adelson, Mike Spath,

getting them to weigh in on, hey, what do you think the Tigers will do?

Because it seems to me to be a no-brainer that they're going to get this done with arguably the best pitcher in baseball.

And based to a man, the other three, those three regular guests that I just mentioned,

they all said the Tigers will not keep Terrick School.

He's 28, by the way, John Bacon.

And they say he will wind up being a guy that they let go because they will deem him to be too expensive to keep.

I find that to be a ridiculous notion.

Am I off base? Am I being too much of a fan when I say that?

I hope you are correct.

By the way, I've been watching this team more closely than any in years, A, because

they're just that good and that much fun to watch.
