You have John E. Bacon, did the best thing you ever did and had Teddy, right?

It wasn't the case 30 years ago.

Yeah.

Not even close.

Lots of happen in 30-plus years.

One thing that stayed the same, no salary cap in baseball.

And while it has been mentioned before, and I were raised this point, it's always been mentioned as a threat, you know, posturing for position.

It hasn't been brought back to the floor like it since 1994 when there was a work stoppage.

Well, John Eubacon, a salary cap was just put back on the floor by major baseball ownership.

And I wonder what you think has made them be emboldened enough to do it this time.

Is it a factor that seemingly for the first time ever, certainly since

in my lifetime, where the fans are citing not necessarily with the owners, but with the

owner's position.

Do you think that is a legitimate thing now that is putting some win behind the sales of the ownership position?
