He was at Chrysler last night as well, watching the top team in the Big Ten take down the Purdue

Boilermakers.

I'm talking about Steve Clark here for the midweek

peak, Steve. Good morning. How are you? Sam, I'm doing a lot better than the Kansas City

Chiefs offensive line today, but the headline was going to watch Purdue and Michigan battle for

first place in the Big Ten, courtesy of Ira

Weintraub, by the way, who allowed my wife and I to go sit next with them and their family.

And boy, you know, despite her wearing the Purdue outfit, which I could understand, it was an

exciting game. It was an exciting game. And I remember the last time I went to see a Michigan-Purdue game there.

Purdue's fans took over the darn place. They did not. They did not this year.

They were relatively quiet compared to the last time I went to the Chrysler Center to see a Michigan-Purdue game.

So good for the Wolverines who got their first win over a top 10 program since beating

Purdue in 2022 by a lopsided margin.

But this was a game, Sam, where Purdue led most of the way.

And Michigan spent the second half just chip, chip, chipping away and played a game that I was happy to see

because this was not a game, Sam, that was filled with a bunch of silly turnovers.

Michigan didn't give up a double-digit lead.

They didn't do things that made me want to stomp out of the arena or the room or anything

like that.
