Big Ten tournament champs, the Michigan softball team hoisting a trophy again.

Not by how you start, by how you finish.

Always great to have a great start.

Don't get me wrong.

Want to start out great too.

But if you can finish strong, Mr. Wyant Tribe, like the ladies,

softball team are finishing or finish the Big Ten part of the schedule of their season strong.

That's great because it gives them momentum as they head into the NCAA portion of the season.

And you said it earlier in a season.

You believe in momentum.

I really believe in momentum in the college game.

It's like a wave.

That wave is cresting. That wave is lifting this team right now and the pitching especially. So you know about Dirk and how well

Dirk has been rolling here in not just this season, last couple of years in her career.

Now, Aaron Hane has really seemed to take her game to another level to the point where they are

legitimately a real one-two punch now.

The way Bonnie had it set up, and she talked about this in the media avail after the bracket was announced for the tournament.

And I hadn't really thought about it like this, but it makes a lot of sense.

She went to Dirk and to Aaron before the postseason started and said, we're a duo.

You're going to work in tandem.
