Sam Webb, Mr. Ira Wynchrom, on the other side, back from a holiday weekend, an extended holiday weekend that was a lot of time with family, but still work, still work related because you had

recruiting.

The recruiting just did not stop.

Michigan recruiting fans know this.

So Wolverines picked up a couple of more additions to the recruiting class has them up to

number seven in the rankings nationally according to 24-7 sports.

They wound up losing one commitment, and I put that loosely because it wasn't totally unexpected.

One of the more understandable ones, as a matter of fact as I explained

on the website of Brody Jennings flipping to Miami a young man who had been had been taking

other visits anyway but I think things took took on a different kind of tone in the aftermath of the passing of his father at the end of May.

I just kind of felt like what was an unlikely scenario before, his departure from the class became a likely scenario after that. And I think you can kind of see that

and some of the reactions from coaches and former, now former recruiting classmates, you know,

messages like Family First and things like that. I think you can kind of see in that tone and that sentiment, what a lot of them are seeing and feeling about his decision to go to school closer to home.

And hopefully, hopefully, with the way Miami gets down NIL-wise, hopefully, you know, they really

forked over a lot to get them to flip.

You hope that's the case, right?

Give them some more financial security in the mix as well.

But along the lines to get back to the more trivial side of things,

the Wolverines picked up a commitment at the same position,

a higher rate commitment at the same position.

So that winds up helping them in the rankings.
