But in the meantime, it does give us a moment to highlight that it is opening day.

And while it always is a festive occasion across the country,

but certainly around these parts,

it takes on a different tone this year, Ira,

because opening day comes with expectations this year.

That makes it different.

It makes it different.

It does feel different.

And I do appreciate the fact that Major League Baseball has sent the Tigers away for the first week or so of the season because the later they start at home, the better likelihood of decent weather for the home opener.

So I think all like the first two weeks of the season should be played in domes and in the South. That's another conversation for another day. I don't love the fact that they moved the baseball season up

because the baseball season used to start like the day of the national championship game in basketball.

So we're ahead of schedule from where we used to be.

And I kind of wish it started then.

It seems like, I don't know, it's a little early.

But it is opening day.

And it's fun to have a team with expectations.

And now you got to live up to them.

And first things first, you start with a very difficult task on the very first day.

I mean, it's one game.

It's the first day.
