us toward the end of the week and coming

off of the weekend.

Your biggest takeaways, EA, from not just the Lions draft, but the NFL draft in

general.

Well, as expected, this idea that we don't need a draft to tackle.

We don't need a draft edge rusher.

I mean, that was smoke.

And I think we knew it at the time because this is exactly what they did.

As well, it should have been.

I mean, in Brad Holmes' defense, and in the defense of all the GMs,

they have to do these press conferences.

They have to answer the question.

They cannot be totally straight about what they want because it gives away an advantage.

This whole mock draft thing just makes my eyes roll every year and more so every year

because everyone's mock draft blew up in the first three picks and then it's worthless.

Anyway, that said, rant aside, I love the Derek Moore pick, and that's not just me being a Michigan

Homer.

I think that he has tremendous room to grow.

I think he's got that dog in him.
