college football and ask you, hey, man, did the college football playoff committee, did they

get it right? Did they, did they sn it right? Did they snub Alabama?

Do you like the way that they did it with the seeding?

What do you think of the playoff bracket?

I think, well, I don't like the format.

I don't like the 12-team playoff.

I mean, I don't know if you want me to spend 15 minutes of ranting about that.

I think that's the real problem.

I think that the committee got it right in choosing SMU.

SMU has a better body of work, went down to the wire and almost beat a conference champion in a clutch game.

That, to me, is really what rankles me the most, Sam, is that you should be rewarded by

end of season performance.

I mean, this is how I grade my students in some sense, too.

Like, if you're

better at the end of the semester, I count for that. Whereas, you know, if you're Georgia

and you almost lose to Georgia Tech, that should count against you. If you're Ohio State
