Still on the championship high. I was talking to Rich Reddy about how much I was just in the zone when we talked last week, functioning on a couple of hours sleep, but just feeling wired by the championship.

And that glow hasn't worn off a week later, Eric Adelson, as we can still say,

proudly that Michigan is a national champion in basketball.

I fell just short in hockey.

But when you consider they were in the Frozen Four, Michigan women's

basketball was in the elite eight, and then scoring a national championship in basketball,

this was quite a winter in early spring for the maize and blue.

Yeah, I mean, really amazing. And I think we all anticipated that it was going to be special.

But other than hockey and getting to the Frozen Four is no small thing coming out of that conference and how good Michigan State was, how good Penn State was.

I think that's also a great accomplishment for the hockey team.

But it really lived past, I think, all of our heightened expectations. Certainly basketball did.

I don't think anybody thought that Michigan basketball would be that good, that dominant.

I mean, it's now being talked about in historical terms.

And then Michigan women's basketball, steady growth, advancing to the elite eight, and and and and just continuing the progress.

And then the hockey team was so, so fun to watch.

That's the other thing is these teams are so fun to watch.

And great personalities, really easy to cheer for.

Nothing in the way of controversy for those teams or anything that gave us concern about,

you know, can you cheer for this team?

You could.

And it was just a great, great winter.
