December 26, 1996, at 5.52 a.m., Boulder County Police Emergency Dispatch receive a frantic call from a mother

claiming her daughter has been kidnapped. The woman says she awoke to find a ransom note laid at the

bottom of a staircase and her six-year-old daughter gone. What ensued would become one of the

most bizarre and controversial murder investigations in modern history,

the facts of which are still highly disputed to this day.

It has been over 20 years and the case remains officially unsolved,

with investigators stating that due to the circumstances of their investigation,

justice may never be served.

to some unknown details that may give you a better understanding for enthusiasm for this case.

We know that Jean-Beney Ramsey is not a case that has never been covered before.

It's been covered pretty extensively, but at the same time, it has been over 20 years.

And like I said, in the opening, the case is still unsolved.

And this is a sadistic murder of a sexual little girl in her own home.

In our opinion, it's just as worthy of more coverage as any other case.

It wasn't until we began researching for the podcast that we began to realize the facts we'd known of this case were generally information the Ramsey's PR machine and attorneys distributed to the public.
