This is Handel on the Law, Marginal Legal Advice, where I tell you, you have absolutely new case.

There have been story after story throughout the last couple of years,

well, particularly since George Floyd was killed in Minneapolis by that police officer,

Derek Chauvin, who was convicted of murder.

And so we are getting tons of stories about police misconduct.

And I'm holding one that I want to share with you because if you can possibly believe this,

this is police misconduct that should be talked about in a stand-up comedy session, right?

A segment of literally stand-up comedy.

And here it is.

It's right here in Los Angeles, where I live in broadcast from, and it has to do with

a couple of cops who, instead of responding to a robbery, were playing Pokemon in the car. And they were

fired for doing that, saying, no, thank you. And they took it to court. And the lower court said,

hey, you're not supposed to play Pokemon when you're on duty and

sitting in a police car.

And it gets worse than that, too.

Well, the appellate court said, you two are dreaming.

Go play some Pokemon.

So here is what ended up happening.

There's a video system in their patrol car.
