No longer will its colorful spokescandys be the face of the brand.

Instead, actress Maya Rudolph will be the spokesperson and newly appointed Chief of Fun.

The company apparently got tired of the pushback it's received since last year when it rebranded

each candy character with new clothes and new personalities.

In a Twitter statement the company said, we weren't sure if anyone would even notice

and we definitely didn't think it would break the internet.

Now we get it.

Even a candy shoes can be polarizing.

The original colorful cast will, for now, reportedly pursue other passions.

The switch becomes official during the Super Bowl.

The Taylor Swift ticket fiasco has made its way to the hallowed halls of Congress.

Yesterday, a Senate committee began investigating the epic failure of ticket master to manage

the sale of seats for her era's tour.

At issue is the company's chokehold on tickets, how it sets pricing, and who can purchase

and when.

Taylor came out swinging when the company canceled its public sale.

We asked them multiple times if they could handle this kind of demand, she said.

And we were assured they could.

It's truly amazing that 2.4 million people got tickets, but it really makes me mad that

a lot of them feel like they went through several bear attacks to get them.
