Joshua Martin Angelie has lung disease and needs to do all his learning from home.

But his district has found a way that short of him being there in person is the next best

thing.

It's invested in four avatar robots, one of which sits at Joshua's desk and controlled

by the youngster from home sends a blinking signal when he is something to say.

Classmates then interact with Joshua through the avatar.

They talk, laugh and even chit chat.
