Before we get into Tesla news today, I just wanted to talk quickly about SpaceX because yesterday

SpaceX had a successful static fire test of the Falcon Heavy.

A static fire test is basically a test of the engines where the rocket is actually held down,

so it doesn't actually launch, but it allows SpaceX to make sure that everything is seemingly functioning properly before they actually go ahead and attempt to launch.

Now that the static fire test was successful, Elon tweeted that they plan to launch in a week or so.

The concept for Falcon Heavy has been around since as early as 2004,

and the initial launch was originally planned for 2013.

So this is a long time coming for SpaceX.

So it's really cool to finally be so close to the actual launch.

And as a reminder, this is the launch that will include Elon's personal Roadster
