Just before we got on the air, I just read this,

and I burst out laughing. Well, it was a couple minutes before we went on the air, and Alan heard me, he goes, what are you laughing about? You weren't in the studio yet, and what are you laughing

of him? And so I had to read it to him, but this was just an article in National Review,

California flirts with economic suicide.

And it was a Charles Cook article.

And he talked about the fact that he about a decade ago, he was talking to a group of

conservative students at UCLA.

And they were all back then 10 years ago, depressed about the state of California.

Yeah. Yeah. You know, they tax too much, spend too much. All these stupid laws. It's too

expensive, overregulated. The services were substandard and unfriendly. And then he asks, he goes, well, then when you get out of college, you know, where are you going to go?

And, and, oh, they also said things like, we don't see how this could ever be fixed. It can't be fixed. And he goes, well, where are you going to go when you graduate? And they said, go, we're not going to, we could never leave California. because they were just resigned to the fact that we're going to live in California,
